The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR- adult CPR with breaths- child CPR with breaths- adult and child AED use- infant CPR- and mild and severe airway block for adults- children- and infants.

The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THE COURSE?

Family & Friends CPR is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but does not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life. Family & Friends CPR extends the availability of and access to training, so that more people can learn CPR and use their skills to act quickly in an emergency.

Requirements

  1. SIGN UP: In case this course is scheduled you will be able to sign up using the "Apply" button or in case it has not you can request information using the "More information" button on this page.
  2. Payment for the BLS by bank transfer to MCB account 20074600 Curaçaosche Hartstichting to IAHF. Please sent proof of payment.
  3. A minimum of 4 to 5 participants (NOT LESS) is necessary to organize the practical Family & Friends CPR course.
  4. iPads or tablets are allowed during the course. All participants should study & bring their manual/eBooks to the course.
  5. Every participant must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes face mask and gloves.
